Margaret Mary McGee
Margaret Mary McGee, a resident of Pawling and formerly of Shrub Oak, NY, passed way Friday, April 1, 2011 at home. She was 80.
Born in Flushing, NY on June 7, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Denis and MaryAnn (McMullen) Brennan.
Mrs. McGee was a member of St. John’s Church in Pawling and very proud of her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. McGee is survived by her son, Peter, of Candlewood Isle, CT; daughters, Ellen Quinn of Brewster, Margaret McGee of Centerville, VA, Bridget Comerford of Pawling, MaryAnne Flocco of Patterson, and Jeanne Comerford of Pawling; sister, Bridget Earls of Westwood, NJ; and grandchildren, Peter O’Louglin McGee, Erin Cullen McGee, Conor Quinn, Peter John Quinn, Elle Quinn, Clare Quinn, Kevin Cavuoto, Patrick Cavuoto, Bryan Cavuoto, Jack Comerford, Henry Flocco, Margaret Anna Flocco, James Brennan Comerford, Mary Comerford, Elizabeth Comerford, and Therese Comerford. She is predeceased by her husband Peter McGee in 2002 and son D. Brennan McGee.
Friends may call at the family’s house on Monday, April 4, 2011 from 12-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 11am at St. John’s Church, 39 East Main Street, Pawling. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. McGee’s memory to the Fundraiser for Wounded Soldier, Marine Lance Corporal John Curtin.
